• SAM’S BACKGROUND – My entire 40 year career has been related to the metal fabrication industry. I have held positions from draftsman to corporate management with 26 years in management positions. I have 38 years of experience dealing with the programming of NC/CNC equipment and 29 years of experience dealing with industrial lasers. 25 of those years were dedicated to LVD/Strippit laser systems. I was the first Laser Applications Engineer hired by LVD in North America, and I set up the original training programs for both laser operators and programmers. I ended my tenure at LVD/Strippit as CADMAN Product Manager for the laser division. I have worked for job shops and an original equipment manufacturer of lasers and turret presses. My extensive training and experience gives me a level of expertise that very few can claim as well as a unique perspective on laser programming and operations.
